The total area of one of the largest national parks in Europe is 104,933 ha. Borjom-Kharagauli National Park presents well-preserved and protected forest habitats, rare and unique flora and fauna, and unique landscapes. The network of tourist routes in the national park allows one-day and multi-day hikes. The network of tourist routes reaches from 400 m above sea level to 2,642 m. The paths are marked and equipped. There are tourist shelters, picnic, and camping areas along the trails. There are also designated areas for lighting fires. The National Park offers visitors hiking, horseback riding, biking, snowshoeing, and cultural and educational tours. From the Imereti region, you can enter the national park from the village of Marelis or the village of Nunis. Before entering the park, it is necessary to register at the Kharagauli Visitor Center of the National Park.
