Galaktion Tabidze (1891-1959) “Georgian King of Poets” Museum is located in the village of Chkvishi, the Vani Municipality. Galaktion introduced the reader to a completely new poetic world and, with his abundant poetic talent, took Georgian poetics to a new stage. “Artistic Flowers” earned him universal acclaim which was published in 1919 and named him “Genius Galaktioni” and “King of Poets.” Galaktion Tabidze and his glorious work have always been at the center of attention of Western literary critics. Translations of his poems and poems have been systematically done in French, German and English. One can visit the house-museum where the poet was born and raised, his desk, and personal belongings.
