House museum of the great Georgian writer and dramatist Davit Kldiashvili. Davit Kldiashvili is a writer whose writings we can get not only aesthetic pleasure but also get to know the history of the second half of the 19th century. The main theme of Kldiashvili’s work is the depiction of the life of the impoverished gentry of Imereti because their complacency due to the new public relations did not suit the real situation at all. Davit Klidiashvili has a distinct style in literature, which means expressing what he has to say with “tearful humor”. The house museum preserves materials related to the writer’s life and work: furniture, manuscripts, clothes, dishes, etc.
