The first graduation ceremony of the 2024 graduates of Kutaisi International University (KIU) was held, which was opened by the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
Irakli Kobakhidze addressed the audience with a welcome speech, congratulated the graduates on completing their studies and wished them success.
Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili also addressed the audience. Giorgi Amilakhvari, Minister of Education, Science and Youth; Rector of Kutaisi International University, Professor Giorgi Khubua; Emeritus President of Technical University of Munich (TUM), Honorary President of Kutaisi International University, Professor Wolfgang A. Herman; Vice President of Future Research and Technology Strategy of the German Transnational Engineering and Technology Company Bosch, Dr. Andrei Heinke; Secretary General of the League of European Research Universities (LERU), Professor Kurt Deketelare and University graduate Anano Shaverdashvili.
Within the framework of the graduation event, Kutaisi International University (KIU) Rector, Professor Giorgi Khubua, together with the President Emeritus of TUM, Honorary President of KIU, Professor Wolfgang Herman, presented the respective certificates to all the graduates of 2024.
