Sakukhara, the most affluent waterfall is located in the village of Khani, 56 kilometers away from Kutaisi. The 25 meter high waterfall is an example of intact nature. The path that leads to the waterfall is quite steep, but with the right equipment it is possible to walk safely, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the waterfall through that path. Near the waterfall, the river flows into the cliff and disappears, then it emerges from another side. For this reason, the locals call this place “Kvakhvrelia”(a cliff with a hole in it).
