About Us

DMO Imereti

The website is presented by the Destination Management Organization (DMO) of Imereti, established in 2019.

DMO Imereti’s objective is to determine regional tourism policies, support and promote the tourism sector, and work on regional tourism projects and services.

Additionally, DMO Imereti is actively engaged in shaping the region’s image on both a regional and international scale to attract more local and international tourists.

The organization supports tourism activities, coordinates events that promote the region, and serves as a bridge between the community and organizations/businesses in the tourism sector.

Furthermore, the organization supports the development of new projects and services, facilitates collaboration between the private and public sectors, fosters local and regional brandings, and hosts festivals and exhibitions.

In the name of the region and its cities, DMO participates in international events, fairs, exhibitions, and more.

Kutaisi Travel

Kutaisi.travel is a comprehensive digital ecosystem that functions as both a strategic destination management tool and an immersive cultural experience. Commissioned by the Destination Management Organization of Imereti, the platform transcends the traditional role of a travel guide by blending practical utility with a distinct artistic identity. It captures the soul of the city through a nostalgic, vintage aesthetic featuring hand-crafted visuals and interactive sensory elements—such as a virtual vinyl player—transforming the website into a digital art piece that emotionally connects users to Kutaisi’s heritage before they even arrive.

Functionally, the platform acts as the city’s central nervous system, streamlining the visitor experience through advanced technological integration. It aggregates essential infrastructure data—from intercity transport schedules and medical directories to locker services—while offering a dynamic event calendar and detailed, filterable landmark guides. This utility is deepened by the integration of Kultura!, a digital magazine that provides literary context to the city, ensuring that users are connected not just to physical locations, but to the living cultural pulse of the region.
