🍷 Today, the award ceremony of the winners of the “Imereti Wine Competition 2025” was held, where the best Imereti wines of 2025 and their producing companies were presented.
✨ Organized by the DMO Imereti and Imereti Wine Association, the competition has been held for the third year. Its goal and main idea are to promote the development of wine tourism; to popularize Imereti as an ancient wine-making region; to ensure that Imereti has a worthy place on the world wine map; and to associate “Imereti wine” with the ancient traditions, authenticity and quality of the region.
The competition strengthens this process, creates healthy competition and promotes the sustainability of the development of wine tourism.
🍇 According to the standards of the International Organization of Vine and Wine, the best Imereti wines were selected by a jury of international experts. More than a hundred samples from forty wineries were evaluated.
