The cellar “Dionide” of Mirian Iosebashvili is located in the village of Persati, Baghdati Municipality, at an altitude of 240 m above sea level. The cellar is built in the middle of the vineyard, where nine varieties of grapes have been cultivated. Wine is made in a qvevri (a porous earthenware vessel) that has been the centerpiece of traditional winemaking in the Imereti region. The main and unique value of our cellar is the ancient grapevine variety Kundza. The wine is produced from it. In our cellar, visitors can have a great opportunity to take part in various agrarian events, as well as participating in the most delicious culinary masterclasses, preparing and tasting the most popular Imereti dishes.
