Travel in Kutaisi
Generally, the distances between main attractions in Kutaisi itself are very walkable. The only thing that you can need to be aware of is the traffic. Please pay attention when crossing the street. Cars have the right of way and it is safer to wait. Main bus station, in front of McDonald’s or near Colchis Fountain at the central square.
N200 stop is located across the street of McDonald’s or in front of “Karvsla” shopping mall (Tsereteli Street in the centre of the city). Tickets: you can pay driver. Minibus (Marshutka) 0.40 GEL, bus 0.30 GEL. Taxi within the city costs about 5-7 GEL (for example from the centre to the bus station). Taxi to the airport: about 20 GEL.
The main Station is located about 1 km south from the city centre. From Kutaisi train station you can travel to Tbilisi, Batumi, Zugdidi, Chiatura, Samtredia, Tskaltubo, Tkibuli and Sachkhere.

Main bus station is located approximatelyx 3.5km south-west from the city centre, near McDonald’s restaurant. This is where most of the buses and Minibuses (Marshutka) start and end Imeretian villages. Some destinations include Tbilisi, Batumi and Mestia.

· Any public transport (bus) via the airport 08:00 AM 07:00 PM from the central bus station (near McDonald’s). Ticket price 2 GEL. Taxi 24 hours – 20 GEL.
